The Pharmacogenomics (PGx) Research & Development: Short Course aims to equip participants with fundamental skills in PGx research with a focus on African populations. This training addresses the unique genomic variations and healthcare challenges in Africa, offering a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills tailored to this context.

Who qualifies to host a classroom?

i) Academics at an established university/institute in Africa - interested in
facilitating the increase of PGx research skills in Africa
ii) Have access to a classroom with stable internet connectivity and audiovisual equipment
iii) Have technical support during live sessions
iv) Have a facilitator with a background in genetics/genomics/pharmacology/research methodology
