The BBPSK Research Webinar Series is an interactive scientific engagement platform established by the Biochemistry and Biotechnology Professionals Society of Kenya (BBPSK) to promote knowledge sharing, mentorship, networking, and research visibility across the biosciences community.

Meet the Moderator
Dr. Carolyn W. Muruthi K. is a biomedical scientist and medical educator currently serving as the Medical Biochemistry Course Lead in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Aga Khan University, Medical College, EA. She has extensive experience in teaching and mentoring medical and biomedical sciences students. Her research interests focus on oncology, molecular mechanisms of disease, and the development of therapeutics from African medicinal plants and natural products. She is also actively involved in global health and translational research initiatives aimed at improving healthcare outcomes in low-resource settings.
