About Me
I am an early career researcher with interests in cancer biology, specifically how tumors re-engineer the vascular system to support progression and metastasis. My research focuses on two broad themes: Angiocrine Signaling and Vascular Mimicry. In addition, I am also interested in clinical oncology, especially investigating the correlation between gene expression and patient histopathological parameters to understand tumor behavior and predict drug response. My long-term plan is to build a successful comprehensive cancer research program via ICRF-Kenya to meet the needs of our population.
As a member of the BBPSK mentorship program, I look forward to nurture young scientists to navigate and explore local and global scientific opportunities.
