The University of Siena has opened its Second Selection Notice for Admission to PhD Courses (42nd Cycle), offering 60 fully funded PhD positions for the 2026/2027 academic year. The call is open to applicants of all nationalities and spans a wide range of disciplines — from life sciences, medicine, and biotechnology to engineering, chemistry, agriculture, economics, and the humanities. Who can apply

1. Hold a Master's degree or equivalent international qualification before enrollment
2. Meet the specific admission requirements of the chosen PhD program
3. Successfully complete the competitive selection process (academic qualifications, CV, research proposal, publications where applicable, and/or interview, depending on the program)
