This award aims to support early-career researchers, integrating them into the psoriatic disease research community of scientists, clinicians, and patients. Recipients are expected to be well positioned to apply for future NPF Discovery or Translational Research Grants and build successful, long-term careers in psoriatic disease research.
Applicant Eligibility
Applicants may include post doctoral researchers, fellows, and other trainee level positions, provided the applicant has already received an advanced clinical or research degree (e.g., M.D., Ph.D., R.N., DPhil, D.O., or similar), and must be personally and actively responsible for the conduct of the proposed research. Medical students or those currently pursuing graduate level degrees are not eligible.
Budget and Project Period
Applicants may request up to $50,000 (direct cost only) per year. The total project period for the application submitted is one year, from October 1st to September 30th.

Applications for the 2026 funding cycle are due Friday, January 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET. Award notifications are anticipated by June 30.
